Terms of Service
Effective Date: 19th October 2026
Business Owner: Yvonne Currie | Business Coach
Website: www.yvonnecurrie.com
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of my website, coaching services, digital products, free resources, online community and any related interactions with me - Yvonne Currie, Business Coach and Certified Mindset Coach.
In these Terms, "I", "me" and "my" refer to Yvonne Currie, and "you" and "your" refer to anyone using my website, resources or services.
By accessing my website, downloading a free resource, buying a product or booking coaching with me, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or my services.
2. Who I Work With
I work with professional women - particularly senior corporate and management women - who want to design a realistic, intelligent exit from the 9-5 and build a business and a life on their own terms.
My services are for adults aged 18 and over who are able to enter into a legally binding contract.
3. My Products & Services
These Terms apply to all of my offers, including:
● Free resources and lead magnets, such as guides, checklists and workbooks
● Low-cost digital products, such as workbooks, templates and mini-courses
● Live or recorded masterclasses, workshops and webinars
● 1:1 coaching, including intensives, deep-dive sessions and coaching programmes
● Group coaching and online communities
The details of each offer, including what's included, the price and the length of any programme, are shown on the relevant sales page, booking page or in your welcome information. If those details differ from these Terms, the details for that specific offer apply.
4. Use of Website and Content
All content on my website and in my products and services (including text, images, downloads, videos, workbooks, course materials and blog posts) is owned by or licensed to me and is protected by copyright law.
You agree not to:
● Copy, reproduce or distribute my content without written permission
● Use my website or my services in any way that is unlawful or harmful
● Share your login details, or access to paid products, courses or downloads, with anyone else
● Use my materials to create competing products, courses or coaching programmes
● Upload my materials into AI tools or other software to copy, repackage or resell them
You may:
● Use my free and paid resources for your own personal and business development
● Share my public blog and social media posts with proper credit and a link back to my website
5. Coaching Services
My coaching provides guidance, structure, accountability and support to help you move forward with clarity and confidence. Coaching is not therapy or counselling, and it is not a substitute for legal, financial, tax, HR, mental health or medical advice. Before making major decisions - such as leaving your job, changing your income or starting a business - I encourage you to seek independent professional advice where appropriate.
Your part
Coaching works best when you fully show up for it. You agree to:
● Attend sessions on time and ready to take part
● Complete the exercises and actions agreed between sessions - this is where much of your progress happens
● Be open and honest with me so I can support you well
● Take full responsibility for your own decisions, actions and results
My part
I agree to:
● Come to every session prepared, and coach you with care and skill
● Keep what you share with me confidential (see below)
● Give you honest, supportive feedback
● Support you for the full length of the programme or service you've booked
How sessions run
Sessions are delivered online by video call unless we agree otherwise. Please make sure you have a reliable internet connection and a quiet, private space for your sessions.
Confidentiality
Everything you share with me in coaching is kept confidential. The only exceptions are where I'm required to share information by law, or where I believe there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else. I will never share your name, story or results publicly without your permission, and sessions will only be recorded if we both agree.
6. Booking, Payments & Rescheduling
● All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£)
● Sessions, products and programmes must be paid for in advance, unless a payment plan has been agreed
● If you choose a payment plan, you are committing to the full programme fee, and all instalments must be paid on time - even if you stop attending sessions
● If a payment fails, I'll let you know, and I may pause access to sessions and materials until your payments are up to date
● To reschedule a session, please give at least 24 hours' notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, may be treated as used
● If you arrive late, the session will still finish at the original time
● If I need to reschedule, I'll give you as much notice as possible and offer you a new time - you won't lose your session
● Sessions within a programme need to be used during the programme period (for example, 12 weeks), unless we agree otherwise - for example, because of illness or a family emergency
7. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)
If you buy from me online, by phone or by email, UK consumer law (the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) normally gives you 14 days to change your mind.
Coaching services
You can cancel within 14 days of booking for a full refund. If you ask for your coaching to begin within those 14 days (for example, by booking a session or a deep-dive in the first two weeks) and then cancel, I'll refund you, less a fair amount for the coaching already provided. Once the service has been fully provided, the right to cancel no longer applies.
Digital products
Because digital products are delivered straight away, when you buy you'll be asked to agree to immediate access and to confirm that you understand you lose your 14-day right to cancel once your download or access begins.
8. Refunds
Digital products and online programmes
Because digital products and online programmes give you instant access, all sales are final once you have downloaded or accessed them and no refunds are given. This includes workbooks, templates, guides, mini-courses, recorded masterclasses and any other digital content. If something is faulty or doesn't work as described, please let me know and I'll put it right or replace it.
Coaching
For coaching programmes:
● If you need to cancel before your programme starts, please give me 14 days' written notice. A partial refund may be offered, less a reasonable admin fee
● Once your programme has started, no refunds are issued unless agreed under special circumstances
● If you are on a payment plan, the remaining instalments are still due, unless we agree otherwise
If you are unhappy with anything you've bought from me, please get in touch to talk about it and I'll do my best to resolve it fairly. Nothing in these Terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
9. Digital Products, Free Resources & Masterclasses
Any free or paid downloads, workbooks, templates, guides or checklists you receive from me are for your personal use only. You may not sell, share, reproduce or repurpose them for commercial use.
Access to digital content is usually delivered by email or through an online platform, so please make sure you give a valid and accurate email address. If something hasn't arrived, please check your spam or promotions folder, then get in touch and I'll help.
When you sign up for a free resource, you'll also join my email list and receive emails from me with tips, resources and occasional offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.
Some products may be offered at a special one-time price, for example straight after you sign up for a free resource. These offers are time-limited, and the special price may not be available later.
Masterclasses and webinars may be recorded. If you join live, your name and any comments or questions you share may be visible to others and may appear in the recording. Replays are not always available.
I aim to keep paid digital content available for as long as reasonably possible. If I ever need to retire a product, I'll give reasonable notice where I can so you can download your materials.
10. Online Community & Group Spaces
If you join my free Facebook group, The Next Chapter Collective, or any group programme, I ask that you:
● Are kind, supportive and respectful to other members
● Keep what other members share confidential
● Don't spam, sell or recruit members into other businesses or opportunities, unless I've said it's okay
I may remove posts or members who don't follow these guidelines. In paid group programmes, removal for a serious breach will be without a refund. Facebook and other third-party platforms also have their own terms, which apply when you use them.
11. Results & Earnings Disclaimer
I do my best to make sure the information I share is accurate and helpful. However, I make no guarantees about the results you may achieve from coaching, using my products or taking part in my programmes. Any client stories or testimonials I share are individual experiences - they are not a promise of what you will achieve.
You agree that:
● Results vary depending on your effort, skills, background, time and circumstances
● You are responsible for your own actions and decisions, including any decisions about your job, career, finances or business
● I do not make any guaranteed income or earnings claims
● Starting a business involves some risk, and you should only make financial commitments you're comfortable with
12. Privacy & Your Information
I take your privacy seriously. Any personal information you share with me is handled in line with UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). You can read the full details of how I collect, use and protect your information in my Privacy Policy, available on my website.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage, including any loss of income, profits, business or opportunity, that arises from using this website or my products or services.
Where I am found to be liable, my total liability will be limited to the amount you paid me for the product or service concerned.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes my liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
14. Links to Other Websites & Platforms
I may link to third-party websites or resources, and I use trusted third-party platforms to run my business (for example, payment, booking, video call, email and course platforms). I'm not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of those sites and platforms, so please review their own terms and policies.
15. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, business names and content are protected under intellectual property law. You may not use my brand or materials without my written permission.
16. Events Outside My Control
If I'm unable to deliver a session, product or service because of illness, emergency, technical problems or other events outside my reasonable control, I'll let you know as soon as possible and rearrange things with you. I won't be responsible for delays caused by events outside my control.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, United Kingdom, and any disputes will be handled under Scottish law and jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also be able to bring a claim in your local courts.
18. Changes to These Terms
I may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Effective Date". The Terms that apply to a purchase are the ones in place when you made it. Continued use of my website or services means you accept the updated Terms.
